Closed on Thursday 22 August due to high winds
Due to high winds forecast from the Met Office, Grimsthorpe Castle, Park & Gardens will be closed on Thursday 22 August.
This is a full closure of the grounds, including the Castle, Gardens, Adventure Playground, Gift Shop, Tea Trailer and Parkland.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and assure you that this closure has been put in place for visitor and staff safety.
We hope to be open as usual from Sunday 25 August following routine safety checks of the site but please check the website and social media before travelling.
Anyone who has booked tickets online will be contacted directly.
Unfortunately this does also mean that the outdoor theatre production of Little Women in the evening of Thursday 22 August has been cancelled- sadly we couldn’t find a date to reschedule so those who bought a ticket will be refunded.
