Take the hassle out of your day by pre ordering a picnic hamper which will be delivered on arrival – please email to order a hamper which can be paid for over the phone in advance or on arrival.

Please note that the Huts are located in the parkland and cannot be accessed by a vehicle. Please see below for the walking distance. Unsuitable for those with physical limitations or disabilities due to the remote location.
Please note the closest toilets are next to the Castle, at the Ticket Hut, or the Adventure Playground.

Reusable plate, napkins, cutlery and a Grimsthorpe tea towel are included in your hamper. Please leave all reusable items inside the hamper to be washed.
Flat price starts at £60 and includes rent of the Shepherd Hut plus two adult entry into the Park & Gardens. Huts can accommodate between 4 and 6 adults. Any add ons after this will need paying for on arrival.
On arrival please park in the car park and walk towards the ticket office. Please show your tickets to the member of staff, who will give you a map, key and directions to your hut.
The Shepherd Huts do not have enclosed gardens so although dogs are welcome, we ask that you please keep them on a lead.
The huts are lockable and Grimsthorpe Castle takes no responsibility for your belongings.
